The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released new safety data dossier for titanium dioxide as part of their Working Party's testing programme and their 'Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials' publication series.
The OECD's Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials testing programme's objective is to "conduct specific tests, relevant to human health and environmental safety endpoints, on a variety of manufactured nanomaterials (MN). Testing Programme is intended to assess the applicability of the existing test guidelines to nanomaterials, as well as to provide useful information on any intrinsic properties of MNs, which are different from the same bulk material with greater external dimensions."
